- Must be filed in the local court where the decedent resided.
How to Write an Idaho Small Estate Affidavit Form
The document needed to start the process is called an Idaho Affidavit Collecting Personal Property of the Decedent – Idaho Small Estate. It’s also known as Form CAO Pb 01. Start the affidavit by writing in the name, county, date of death and the address of the decedent at the top of the form.
In Section 5 try to be as descriptive as possible, attach an itemized list if you can. Identify each successor and the proportion of the personal property as a percentage that each is collecting.
